Commonwealth Court of Pennsylvania

Dear Friends:

Campaigning for a year across the 67 counties of Pennsylvania, seeking a position on the Commonwealth Court, I had the opportunity to fully appreciate the richness and complexity of our wonderful state. I have a huge debt of gratitude to the thousands of people who supported and worked for me during this effort. Some I never even had the opportunity to meet in person; some I had the pleasure of getting to know; many have become life-long friends.

One of the greatest rewards of the campaign was in the diversity of the people I met, Pennsylvanians across a broad range of ages, ethnicities, and political and religious persuasions, from the rural “T Counties” to the Urban and suburban centers of East and West. They spoke passionately about their lives and concerns, especially as they might be impacted by the Commonwealth Court.

As it turns out, despite the outstanding primary success, this election did not give me the opportunity to serve on the Commonwealth Court. I extend my best wishes to those on the court, as they work to fairly address legal issues of Pennsylvanians across this state. 

But I would not, for one moment, give up the extraordinary and rewarding experiences of the campaign. The events, the people, the many special places of Pennsylvania stay with me as I proceed with my career.
